Located: 4080 Wunneweta Rd., Cutchogue. SCTM#III-14-23 Pursuant to Chapter 268 the in-kind, in-place construction of the bulkhead is a minor exempt action.! This review will address the backfilling bulkhead with 25 c. y. of clean sand. The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the L WRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed backfilling of the 25 c.y. of clean sand behind the bulkhead action is CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the L WRP provided the following standard best management practices are implemented. 1. To further support the L WRP and the policies. assess the feasibilitv of the installation of a silt boom/turbidity screen durinl! construction activities to minimize turbidity in the water column. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written detemlination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. Before answering the questions in Section C, the preparer of this form should review the exempt minor action list, policies and explanations of each policy contained in the Town of Southold Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. A proposed action will be evaluated as to its significant beneficial and adverse effects upon the coastal area (which includes all of Southold Town).
