Dear Mr Homan:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Planning
Board, Monday, August 24, 1987.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board approve
and authorize the Chairman to endorse the site plan for Braun
Oyster Company for construction of an addition to the existing
building for retail and office space located at Cutchogue,
SCTM it 1000-103-1-1,2,3, and 4 subject to completion of the
following conditions:
1. Proposed driveway to garage would need curb cut (239k)
if not redesigned so as to not exit on Road.
2. Exterior lighting to be shielded to property.
3. Installation of fuel tanks to meet requirements of
State Code.
Would you please have the survey revised to note conditions
it 2 and 3 and contact the Building Department with regard
to satisfying condition it 1. .
Upon satisfactory. ,completion .of the above conditions,
the Chairman can endorse the site plan.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to
contact our office.

Gentlemen:
The above premises is located in a 'c' Light Indus-
trial Zone. Art VIII, Sec 100-80 B (8) requires that a
special Exception by the Board of Appeals be granted to
extend existing use in this district.
The three 500 gal. fuel tanks are located at 7'-0"
(scaled) from property line. A minimum set back of 15'-
0" is required under N.F.P.A. standard #31 table 2-4.
Tanks are located in parking area and shall be protected
from damage under uniform Fire prevention and construction
code, New York State Sec 1002-2b. Minimum spacing between
each tank shall be 3'-0" for fuel with liquid flash point
over 70oF. Nothing on site plan specified or detailed in
this regard.
Based on foregoing this site plan can not be certified
in meeting zoning regulations.

SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 8, 1985:
WHEREAS, James F. Homan has requested this Board waive the provisions of Local
Law No. 14 - ,1985 with respect to his application presently pending before the
Southold Town Building Inspector for a building permit, and
WHEREAS, James F. Homan appeared before this Board and explained the nature
of the uses for which he proposes to use the premises in question, and
WHEREAS, this Board finds that the applicant proposes to construct a new building
to be attached to existing structures, and
WHEREAS, this Board deems such use consistent with the uses in a B-1 General

Plan Update Zoning Code revisions, '
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the applicant be and he hereby is
