Because of a culvert~in th~ Pond, the water,is dammed up:and no~ flowing into_~:Peconic Bay.;:It was agreed th~.iTrustees would meet'~at the~ site with Mrs:. Ward ~o Check the Situation and decide what cou~l~ be:~one. ~: Councilman Frank Murphy is to be asked to' join~them. _~ .. President Hataier called the meeting to Order at'7:30 PM. .On.motion of Mrs. Hataier, seconded by Mr. Staples and carried, the minutes of the-July 1, 1981, and August%5, 1981, meet~in~s were approved with the following exception: the blanket permission from the Mattituck 9ark District to moor boats off ~the bulkhea~atl Matt~ituck Creek in the August 5, 1981, minutes be amended to ~read for M~ttituck residents~Only The next me,ting of the' Board ~ilt be~O'~'t0ber ,7, ~19~.' On motion made by Mrs. Hataier, seconded by Mr. Smith, it was RESOLVED to-approve the application of-Steph~n'A, and Ellen P. ~'Mutkoski' to place an on shor~ s~ake and'-one~20~lb~tern anchor~at~Goose.~Creek with the provision that the anchor be marked with a~buoy, but~ the Board would prefer on shore - off shore stakes. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mrs. ~Hataier, ~essrs.~Smith,%~.Staples, Stoutenburgh and Kujawski. On motfon made by Mrs. Hataier, seconded by Mr. Kujawski, it was RESOLVED to deny the application of Agnes Pagnozzi to install four piles for boat hoist at Jockey Creek. The pilings and hoist are in illegally, as no permits have been issued and the structure is too close to the property line, violating the zoning code. They must remove the piles. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mrs. ~ataier, Messrs. Smith, Staples, Stoutenburgh and Kujawski. 457 On motion made by Mrs° Hataier, seconded by Mr. Stoutenburgh, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board denial of the wetland application of A. Pagnozzi, %71, to install four piles for boat hoist at Jockey Creek. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mrso Hataier~ Messrs. Smith, Staples, Stoutenburgh a~d ~jawski. Discussion was held on a complaint of boaters violating creek speed limits. 458 ,~ The application of Matt±tuck Inlet ~rina for dredging was tabled until the next meeting. The matter of the dock extension' qf' Matt-A-Mar Marin~ was table~ until the next meeting in order to research Permit ~356 of ~the Board ~of _.- Trustees and Permit ~1507-24 of the Army Corps of Engineers. The Board requested a letter be written to the ACE .for a ~copy of_Permit ~1507-24. President Hataier made a motion, -seconded by Mr. Kujawski and-.carried, to approve all the mooring renewal permits for the month of October. The Board requested a letter be sent.to Roy Haje of En~Consultants to notify him that permits from the Trustees are needed ~for construction of a retaining wall and dock for A. Marchesi at ,Brush's Cre~ LaUrel, and for replacement of piles in a dock at Horseshoe Coye, ',Cutchogue for Clifford Cornwall. -~ ~ ,~ A letter was received from Jarvis Verity of the'Southotd Town BDymen's Association stating they feel ~he Town should establi~limits on,clams to be taken from town waterao -They also feel that everyone be required to have a permit in order to take shellfish. This'subject. will be on - the Agenda and discussed at the next Board of Trustees meeting. The subject of Donald DeLalla being in violation of his permits was discussed. It was decided-.by the_Board to put this matter on the Agenda for the next meeting, to be.discussed further° T~he 'Board ~feels Mr. DeLalla obtained his permit for~ two ~ore poles unde~r false pre-.~ tenses, as the only reason they approved it was because Mr. DeLalla stated they were for family only. Otherwise, the Board would have__ . .denied' the application. Alsog Mr. DeLalla has not replie~d to a~ letter sent him on July 27, 198!, stating., that~ if he is in violation of his permits, they would be revoked. There being no further business to come before the-Board, Mr. Kujawski ' made a motion, seconded by Mrs.~ Hataier and carried, to adjourn.
