Robert Tasker, Esq., acting Chairman, opened the meeting at 7:45 P.M. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as sent out. Mr. May took over the meeting and explained that the Master Plan and the New Zoning Ordinance may not be exactly the same, as the Master Ban looks further ahead than the Ordinance actually allows at this time. He reviewed briefly what has been done in the past few months for the benefit of those present who had missed several meeti~. Some questions were raised on the layout of future uses on the Master Plan map. It was recommended that any change made in the character of a particular area, there shald be a change in the Master Plan before a change of zone is made. Many questions were raised on the II insert II for th~ew zoning Ordinance framework that Raymond & May sent to the Planning Board this week. , , Master Plan Meeting -2- April 26, 1967 The question of labor camps controll was brought up for discussion. It was agreed the present section of our Ordinance should be carried in the new Ordinance. Standards for granting special exceptions were thouroughly discussed, also methods of handling them and which ones should be handled by Planning Board and which by the Board of Appeals. The proposed Ordinance insert was gone over page by page, item by item, and comments were noted by Mr. May so that he can make the requested changes. There was an exceptional amount of discussion and ideas expressed on the items in the "insert" section and standards for the proposed zone divisions. Many changes were requested so Mr. May has set May 4th at 7:30 P.M., at the Supervisor's Office, for another special meeting on the matter. The propesed new zone map with an overlay was posted on the wall and left for each to examine before the next meeting. Any marking or comments are to be made on the overlay in colored pencil. Everyone looked at it and will make comments at the next meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 10:40 P.M. Respectfully submitted, f-l..lCl--\.tl U~ HO~;erry, Secretary P~o Tern
