L P f;)d-,Lf 3S-1 cn-I-(Lf This Indenture Made" this 24TH day of SEPTEMBER Lord, TWO 'J"HOUSAND THREE in the year of our BETWEEN - JOHN C COCHRANE as ttie County Treasurer 330 Center Drive Riverhead, N.Y: 11901 of the County of Suffolk, State of New York, party of the first part, and the COUNTY OF SUFFOLK, party of the second part. 330 Center Drive Riverhead, N.Y. 11901 WITNESSETH, that WHEREAS by an- act of the Legislature of the State of New York, Chapter 62, Laws of 1909, entitled "An Act in Relation to Taxation, Constituting Chapter Sixty of the Consolidated Laws. and the several acts amending the same, and the special tax statutes applicable to Suffolk County, it was among other things enacted that whenever any tax charged on real estate in a county not including a portion of the forest preserve is returned to the County Treasurer, he shall not return the same to the Comptroller, but if such tax with interest thereon at the rate of ten per centum per annum, computed frol""(1 the first day of February after the same is levied, shall remain unpaid for six months from that date such County Treasurer shall advertise and sell such real estate pursuant to said acts: AND WHERF.AS, default was made in the payment of taxes levied in the year 2000101 so as foresaid duly charged on SU~ry parcels of land within the , County of Suffolk, with interest thereon, and the said taxes remaining unpaid for six months from the first day of February aft~r the sJ.me was levied; ---... I AND WHER~S, the County Treasurer of the cbunty of Suffolk for the time being, by virtue of the power in him vested, and after dJe notices for that purpose published and given according to law, and after ~ compliance with all provisions of - - - I law of him required, did sell at public auction, at the Court House in Riverhead, in I the County of Suffolk, in the month of DECEMBER in the year TWO THOUSAND ONE the parcels of land S6: as aforesaid charged with taxes remaining unpaid to satisfy and discharge the said taxes, and the interest and I charges due thereon respectively at the time of the sale: AND WHEREAS, at said sale the premisl hereinafter described were . purchased by the County of Suffolk to whom thelcertificate of the County Treasurer of said sale was thereupon issued and delivered: I I I AND WHEREAS, the numerical designations used to describe parcels of .property within this deed are a reference to the Suffolk County Tax Map Identifier assigned to each parcel so described on the Suffolk County Tax Map. The Suffolk County Tax.Map Identifier consists of the Suffolk County District number, Section number, Block number, Lot number and Sublot Suffix number listed in such sequence and which has been assigned to each parcel so described. The Suffolk County Tax Map Identifiers recited in this deed are prefixed by the abbreviation 'S.C.T.M.'.
