Gentlemen:
Below is a description of the installation of a staircase being
installed at the above mentioned address.
Construct CCA 4X8 platform to upstairs apartment with 8' stairs of
CCA leading to 4X4 CCA landing. Landing with 13' staircase of CCA shooting
off to the right of the landing when coming down.
Platform set on cement footings, top platform posts will be 4X6, 4X4
landing will be set on 3' deep cement footings. Posts will be constructed with
4X4 CCA legs.
Stairs will be constructed with 2X12 CCA. The landing and platform frame
with 2X8 CCA and decking will be 5/4 X 6 CCA. Handrail posts will be 4X4
CCA and handrail itself will be 2X6 CCA with 2X4 middle runner through the
whole length of the deck, all fastened together with nails and lag bolts.
