secured by pilings in Richmond Creek, Cutchgoue, with the provision ~
that this permit will be issued for one year as a pilot project. ~-~
Vote of Board: Ayes: All
Mr. Scott will install clam racks between these floats to experiment
with the growth of clams and oysters. The Trustees feel that this permit
would be given for one year because the floats are put out a little
farther than usual. If the project works, it would be to the
advantage of the town. At one time there were numerous oysters
at the head of the creek. If the dock was to be used only for the
mooring of a boat, the Trustees would not want the dock to extend
as far out into the water.
