This application niust be filled in by typewriter or ink and submitted to the Building Department with the following:
A. For new building or new use:
I. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or
topographic features.
2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal (S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains less than 2/1 0 of I % lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate
of Code Compliance from architect or engineer responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
B. For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses:
I. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and unusual natural or topographic
features.
2. A properly completed application and consent to inspect signed by the applicant. If a Certificate of Occupancy is
denied, the Building Inspector shall state the reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.

The Planning Board, at their work session on Monday October 22, 2007, discussed the above
refere~ced site p~. As)Uu are aware, the Planning Board has reviewed various as-built site plans
and discussed vanous staff reports at numerous work sessions in an effort to issue final site plan
satisfaction. Most recently, the Planning Board is in receipt of the enclosed letter from Joseph
Fischetti, P.E. dated October 26,2007 which the Planning Board reviewed at the work session on
Monday, October 29, 2007.
This is to inform you that the site plan requirements have been satisfied and include the following
items:
. The Planning Board accepts the October 26, 2007 letter from Joseph Fischetti, P.E. certifying
the installation of all necessary drainage for the existing 40.2' x 52.1' 1-story metal frame
building located at the rear of the property.
. The Planning Board does not acknowledge or approve any encroachment, permanent or
temporary, onto neighboring properties or the Suffolk. County right of way.
. Dumpsters shall not block any approved parking spaces, b11i1cling entrances, etc.
. All existing ponds and waterfalls must meet Town Code and NYS Building Code and shall be
subject to approval of the Southold Town Building Inspector. If necessary, the applicant
agrees to meet all requirements of the Building Department and obtain all necessary
approvals! permits.
. The existing 10' gazebo must meet Town Code and NYS Building Code and shall be subject
to approval of the Southold Town Building Inspector. If necessary, the applicant agrees to
meet all requirements of the Building Department and obtain all necessary approvals! permits.
. All handicap parking stalls, access aisles and signage must comply with New York State Code
and ADA requirements.
. Outdoor lighting shall be shielded so that the light source is not visible from adjacent
properties and roadways. Lighting fJXt1.\1'es shall focus and direct the light in such a manner as
to contain the light and glare within property boundaries. All lighting must meet town code
requirements.

. As per Town Code $280-127, "any change in use or intensity of use which will affect the
characteristics of the site in te1lllS of parking, loading, access, drainage, open space or utilities
will require site plan approval".
. The applicant agrees to obtain all necessary sign permits from the Bnilrling Department. All
signs shall meet Southold Town Zoning Codes and shall be subject to approval of the
Southold Town Building Inspector.
. No change in landscaping is permitted as part of this satisfaction letter. Anyfuture change in
landscaping must be approved by the Planning Board following submission of a written
request by the applicant.
. As previously discussed and agreed upon, the existing landscaping must mature to minimize
the impact of the existing rock wall along County Road 48. The applicant agrees the rock
wall will be substantially covered with foliage within two (2) yeatS of this approval. The
Planning Board reserves the right to require additional landscaping if the rock wall is not
substantially covered within two (2) yeatS.
. As per landscape survivability, the applicant agrees to replace any of the landscaping which
dies within three (3) yeatS of planting.
Please be aware all existing construction must comply with Town Code pnorto issuance of a
Certificate of Occupancy. This letter does not condone any changes from the as-built site plan and
approvals from other agencies if required.

Please find attached the following:
1. 4 sets of architectural as built drawings for the main storage building. Because of
the way the building was framed the 2nd floor of this structure can only be used for
storage in the main section and no-storage in the smaller section entered by the pull
down stair. Repairs to the T JI floors have been completed under my direction and
inspected by myself.
2. Letter certifying that the main Storage Building Footings, foundation, framing,
strapping and insulation has been installed.
3. Certification for the Metal storage Building foundation, framing and strapping.
4. Energy certificate of Compliance for the Main Storage Building
