June 3, 1969 Mrs. Henry Clark 110 North Street Greenport, New York Dear Mrs. Clark: On May 29, 1969, at a regular meeting of the Southold Town Board of Appeals, the following resolution was passed: "It was RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Appeals ~rants permission to the Greenport Methodist Church to display two Antique Show signs fnwm the middle of July until after the first week in August. The signs are located on the south side of Main Road, and the north side of North Road opposite the traffic circle, both in Greenport. The Board points out permission from the property owner shall be obtained before erecting the sign on the property. Both signs shall be removed immediately after the Antique Show is completed. Clark THE GREENPORT METHODIST CHURCH Greenport, New York Dear Mrs. Clark: In response to your letter of August 1, 1968, the Board is agreeable to gran" you permission to put up two signs advertising the Greenport Methodist Church Antique Show to be held August 6, 7, 8, and 9, 1968. However, we are not in posi tion to grant you permission to place one of these signs in the traffic circle at the head of Main Street, outside of Greenport Village. Both signs lIIust be placed on private propllrty with permission of the owners, and be located at least five feet frOlll any property line. The signs shall be removed by AugustlO, 1968.
