The proposed emergencv alteration to an existing nonconforming building with a nonconforming
use not permitted pursuant to Article XXIV Section 100-243A which states that;
"A nonconforming building containing a nonconforming use shall not be enlarged, reconstructed or
structurallv altered or moved. "
Furthermore, the proposed alteration is not permitted pursuant to Article XXIV Section 100-241G
which states that:
Whenever a nonconforming use of a building or premises has been discontinued for a period of
more than two vears or has been changed to a higher classification or to a conforming use, anything
in this Article to the contrary notwithstanding, the nonconforming use of such building or premises
shall no longer be permitted unless a variance therefore shall have been granted bv the Board of
Appeals.
The structure was last used as a single familv dwelling, which is not permitted in the B District.
