unconstitutional or invalid.
IV, EFFECTIVE DATE
This Local Law shall take effect on September 1,2007, after filing with the Secretary of
State as provided by law.
That is the proposed law and I have here that it has appeared as a legal on the Town
Clerk's bulletin board. It has appeared as a legal in the local newspaper and those are the
only communications that I have in the file.
SUPERVISOR RUSSELL: Would anybody like to come up and address the Town
Board on this local law? (No response) Can Ijust make one recommendation on that last
law? I think if we went from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, it would solve the problem. See, I
don't want to eliminate people's use of that parking next to that athletic field and usually
the athletic events are right after school, so I don't want to find ourselves in the situation
where a soccer game starts a half hour before you are allowed to park there. So I thought
maybe 3:00 would be...
.

.
COUNCILMAN KRUPSKI: Sounds good.
COUNCILMAN WICKHAM: Okay with me.
COUNCILMAN ROSS: I don't see any students from Mattituck High School out there,
they will be surprised in September I suppose.
TOWN ATTORNEY FINNEGAN: Well, the effective date is September ]st.
COUNCILMAN ROSS: That's right.
UNIDENTIFIED: Well, I am a resident of Mary's road and I would like to thank the
Board to consider what you just said because it is chaos.
SUPERVISOR RUSSELL: No question about that.
TOWN CLERK NEVILLE: May we have your name, sir?
JOHN WILCENSKI: John Wilcenski.
TOWN CLERK NEVILLE: Thank you.
COUNCILMAN ROSS: Move to close the hearing.
