THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-730 WAS
ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON
SEPTEMBER 11, 2007:
WHEREAS it has been determined that a one year extension to the Contract between Trinity
Transportation Corp. and the Town of Southold for MSW Transport and Disposal Services, as
contemplated in said Contract adopted by the Town Board on June 19,2007, is in the economic
and environmental interest of the Town of South old, it is hereby
RESOL VED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold authorizes and directs Supervisor
Scott A. Russell to execute an Extension to the Town's contract with Trinity
Transportation Services. Inc. for the provision of MS W Transportation and Disposal Services
for a period of one year (July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010), subject to the review and approval of the
Town Attorney.

EXTENSION OF A
CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT
Between
TRINITY TRANSPORT A TION, INC.
And
TOWN OF SOUTH OLD
RE: Transport and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste from the Southold Town Transfer Station
For the FIRST OPTION YEAR PERIOD OF
JULY 1,2009 - JUNE 30, 2010
As per conditions in the Southold Town Bidders Solicitation for
SOLID WASTE HAUL AND DISPOSAL SERVICES
Dated May, 2007
THIS AGREEMENT, made on the _ day of
,2007,
by and between the Town of Southold, a municipal corporation of the State of New York having
its Principal place of business at 53095 Main Road Southold, New York hereinafter called the
"Town" and _Trinity Transportation, Inc. hereinafter called the "Contractor."
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, Contractor has submitted to the Town a bid dated June 11,2007 (p. 42 of
"Bidders Solicitation"), ("Bid") in response to the Town's Bid Solicitation for Solid Waste
Hauling-Disposal Services dated May, 2007, ("Solicitation"); and
WHEREAS, the Town Board ofthe Town of Southold by resolution No. 2007-730
adopted on September II, 2007 authorized the Town Supervisor to enter into an agreement with
the Contractor to perform certain services in connection with the handling of solid waste,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually covenanted and agreed by and between the parties
hereto as follows:
1. The Town of Southold and Trinity Transporation, Inc. do hereby agree, by mutual
consent, to extend the TERM OF AGREEMENT of the CONTRACT executed by the parties for
transportation and disposal of municipal solid waste on Oc.1olu A.z. ,2007, THROUGH
JUNE 30, 2010 (i.e., the first OPTION YEAR) as contemplated in the NOTICE TO BIDDERS
and PARAGRAPH 18.0 OF SECTION A of the TOWN OF SOUTHOLD BIDDERS
SOLICITATION FOR SOLID WASTE HAUL AND DISPOSAL SERVICES dated MAY 2007,
at the UNIT BID PRICE of$ 78.54 (seventy eight dollars and fifty four cents) per ton charged to
the Town of Southold..
II. Notwithstanding any provisions stipulated by this CONTRACT EXTENSION, the
parties agree to be bound by all other TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the original contract and
agreement documents.
