Your request to display posters advertising your
Parade & Drill on August 1, 1970 and Barbecue on August
29, 1970 has been approved by the Board of Appeals,
subject to the following conditions I
1. Posters to be located on private property with the
consent of the land owners.
2. Display for 2 weeks prior to the event and removal

This is to advise you the following action was taken
by the Southold Town Board of Appeals at a regular m_ting
held tonight I
It was Resolved that Cutchogue Fire Depanmaent be
granted permission to display posters advertising their
chicken barbecue to be held August 24, 1968.
It is forbidden to place these posters on trees and
utility poles without permission.
Said posters shall be removed August 25, 1968.

Sir:
The United Fire Co. #1 of Cutchogue requests permission
to display some advertising posters. As in the past nine
years they will be up about 3 weeks & taken down the day after
the event. We do not put any on utility poles. They are on trees
or in stores. Approximately there will be 100 posters displayed.
We also have one 4'x6' temporary sign that is displayed in the
Village of Cutchogue. This 10-th annual Bar-B-Gue will be held
August 27-th, 1966.

The following action was taJcen by the Southold Town Board
of Appeals at their meeting held Auqust 6, 1964:
"In accordance with a letter from William Midgley, Jr., of
the Cutchoque I'ire Department, on motion of Mr. Gillispie, seconded
by Mr. Bergen, it was
"Resolved that the Cutchogue Fire Department be granted per-
mission to display/'~sters in the Town of Southold advertising
their annual "Bar-B-O" to be held August 22, 1964. These posters
will be removed promptly after the event. It is believed this i.
in the public interest.
"It is specifically forbidden to place these posters on
utility poles or on private property without permission.
"Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Gillispie, Mr. Bergen, and
Mr. Hulse."
