information on our subdivision rules and regulations.
At present lots must contain at least 40,000 square
feet and have a lot width of not less than 150 feet.
It would be the advice of this Board that you take
the map of your property to a surveyor and seek his
advice on how best to divide up your property.

Dear Mrs. Gu1marge8:
Please be advised that the Planning Board reviewed your letter
and sketch of August 5th for the proposed minor subdivision of
your property located off Nls Main Road, Bast Marion, N.Y., at
their regular meeting of August 16, 1971. In general, the
Planning Board approves of the division of this property.
However, the following requirements must be fulfilled before
final approval can be granted to this proposed minor subdivision:
(1) The final maps must be drawn up by a licensed land
surveyor and submitted in triplicate.
(2) Subject maps must show dimensions and areas of all
lots (!,2,3,&4) and names of all adjacent property owners.
(3) The lot lines on lot no.'s 1, 2, & 3. must run northerly
to the highwater mark of L.I. Sound.
(4) A statement must be submitted by yourself stating that
you agree not to further subdivide this property without filing
a major subdivision map.
Bnclosed please find two copies of formal applications for this
minor subdivision. These applications must be completed and
submitted in duplicate, together with a $40. fee ($10. per lot),
and three (3) copies of the final maps.
upon fulfillment of all of the above requirements, final approval
wi!l be granted to this minor subdivision.

Please find below a revised request for the minor sub-division of
the Guimaraes property (E.Marion) into four lots.
Also it is understood that no further sub-division of the remaining
property (Lot #4) as shown will take place without a major revision
request being submitted to your office.

approval August 16 meeting.

Dear Mrs. Guimaraesl
Please be advised that the preliminary sketch for the proposed
minor subdivision of your property located off north side of
Main Road, East Marion, N.Y. was reviewed by the Planning Board
at their regular meeting held on July 19, 1971.
The Planning Board will consider approval of lot numbers 1, 2,
& 3 located on the north side of the proposed road. However,
the entire parcel on the south side of the proposed road must
be labeled as lot no. 4, and we must receive a statement from
you agreeing not to further subdivide this lot in the future.
Any further subdivision of lot no. 4 in the future will require
you to file a major subdivision on the entire parcel.
Pleaae have your maps drawn up in accordance with the above
specifications and present them at the next meeting of the
Planning Board to be held on August 16, 1971.
