6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
B. For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses:
I. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and unusual natural or topographic
features.
2. A properly completed application and consent to inspect signed by the applicant. If a Certificate of Occupancy is

Seotember 13. 2007
The Southold Town Building Inspector conducted an inspection on July 31, 2007 of the
room that is attached to a garage at our residence, 2080 Town Harbor Lane. This room
was converted in 1989 from its previous use as a bay in our three-car garage. It was
converted to be used as a room to store, file, and work on papers and other materials.
The inspector asked that we provide information on use, heating and insulation pf this
room to supplement the building permit that is on file at the Southold Building
Department:
As requested by the Building Inspector, this document describes the use of this room. An
engineer's report on heating and insulation is attached to this document.
The room is used as a file and paper storage room. The room is used to store papers, files,
books, documents, computer disks and other materials and to allow me to receive, copy,
send and transmit the information contained in those materials.
I have material in paper and computer files from past activities and family records. I am
active as an investor, as a volunteer for not-for-profit orgflni7'1tions and as a corporate
director and advisor. Also I maintain records for a family charitable foundation and for
other family matters. These materials include tax, insurance, banking, medical and
similar records and related correspondence
The room serves as a place to store, organize and use that material and to keep mementos
of past activities. When we remodeled our house in 1989, my wife and I decided to
convert one bay of our garage for that use in order to remove this material from the
house.
The room contains an open file cabinet, several filing credenzas, a computer to create,
receive and store documents, a copy machine, a fax machine, a telephone, a desk, several
chairs and various mounted plaques, pictures and mementos recognizing past events and
experiences.
The room is not used to conduct or transact business. It is not used to hold meetings,
transact business with visitors or to conduct any commercial transactions. There is no
traffic generated by the use of this room.

Dear Mr. Verity:
As requested, an inspection of was made of the LPG space heater located in the garage
al2080 Town Harbor Lane, Southold, New York on August 10, 2007 and the energy
calculation for the garage space is attached.
The gas heater was found to be properly installed and to the best of our knowledge is
installed in accordance with the Building Code of the State of New York that was in
effect at the time of construction.

sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.
