At the meeting of the school authorities on October 13th, I was
quite amazed to find that even though couJty-wide bulletins had been
issued in regar4 to certain procedures relative to evening activity
in the sChools, that in different areas different instructions had
been issued to the SChool authorities.
In a great many instances, this has caused undue confusion for
which there was no need.
In the future, all instructions or bulletins you intend to issue
within your juriSdiction to the various croups of Civilian Protection
workers shall be submitted to this office for approval before issuance,
Icw
FLOYD D. HOUSTON,
Director of Civilian Protection
