THIS INDENTURE, made the 22nd day of May nineteen hundred and
fifty-three
BETWEEN JOHN J. MORRIS, residing at Inlet Lane (no street number)
near the Village of Greenport, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, N.Y.,
and JACOB Vi, TYLER, residing at Fourth Street, Ureenport, New 'York,
party of th.first part,and CLINTON A. ROMMEL, residing at Inlet Lane (no
street number) near the Village of Greenport, Town of Southold,
Suffolk County, N. Y.,
party of the second part,
WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part, in consideration of TEN AND N01100 (y 10.00)
dollars,
lawful money of the United States, and other good and valuable considerationspaid
by the party of the second part, does hereby remise, release and quitclaim unto the party of the second
part, his heirs and assigns forever, "
ALL that tract or parcel of land, situate, lying and being east
of the Village of Greenport, in the Town of Southold, County of
Suffolk and State of New York, and bounded and described as follows:-
BEGINNING at a point on the easterly line of Gull Pond Inlet
formed by the intersection of the prolongation easterly of the
southerly line of lands of John J. Morris with said easterly line
of Gull Pond Inlet; running thence easterly in a prolongation
easterly of said southerly line of lands of Morris to the high water
mark of Gardiner's or Marion Hay; running thence southerly along
the high water mark of Gardiner's Hay to the southerly line of the
premises herein described which southerly line is distant one hundred
(100) feet from the northerly line thereof; running thence westerly
and parallel with the northerly line of the premises herein described
and at all points distant one hundred (100) feet therefrom to the
easterly line of Gull Pond Inlet; thence northerly and northeasterly
along the easterly line of Gull Pond Inlet to the point or place of
beginning.
TOGETHER WITH all of the right, title and interest of the
