CALL MEETING TO ORDER

APPROVE MINUTES: Approve minutes of July 1996 Regular Meeting.
I. MONTHLY REPORT: The Trustees monthly report for July 1996: A
check for'l,051.43 was forwarded to the Supervisor's Office for the
General Fund.
II. PUBLIC NOTICES: Public Notices are posted on the Town Clerk's
Bulletin Board for review.
III. AMF1YD~S/WAIMERS/CHANGES:
1. Ireguests an amendment to permit i~'41545 to ge back
to oric ~to construct 75 of bulkhead with two 10' ~eturns
as per DEC Permit dated September 20, 1995. Located 1765 Westview
Drive, Mattituck. SCTM.9!07,7-7.
A motion was made bY TRUSTEE KING and seconded by TRUSTEE GARRELL.
Ayes: King,-Garrell, Hoizapfet, KrupSki. Abstain:Wendzei.
2. requests amendment to add a 8' X 12'
to permit $4240. Deckhas been~ in
approx. 1976. Located BlueMarlin Drive, SoU~hold. SCTM $~7-!-30.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE KRUPSKI~.and secOndedbyTRUSTEE KINGto
table application until a full application is received for a full
permit as applicant should have gotten a permit when structure was
built. ALL AYES.
3. ROBERT SCHiSSEL requests an amendment to add a 8' X 12' deck
(landward of bulkhead) to permit 44546. Deck has been in place since
approx. 1968. Located 710 West Shore Road, Southotd. SCTM ~80-!-46.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE KRUPSKI and seconded by TRUSTEE KING to
table application until a full application is submitted for a full
permit as applicant should have gotten pezmit when structure ~was
built. Ayes: Krupski, King, Holzapfel, Garrell. Abstained: Wenczel.

4. SANDRA ZATARAIN requests an amendment to Permit ~4199 to remove
2' of deck on the east side, as the deck overlaps 2' onto Town
Property (Bay Ave.). located end of Bay Ave., East Marion.

A motion was made by TRUSTEE GARRELL and seconded by TRUSTEE
HOLZAPFEL to grant amendment. ALL AYES.
5. Craig M. Arm on behalf of VINCENT AND LINDA BASILICE requests a
waiver to enclose existing porches and add a 4' X 21' addition as per
survey dated 7-10-96. Located 3255 Bay Shore Road, Greenport.

A motion was made by TRUSTEE GARRELL and seconded by TRUSTEE
HOLZAPFEL to DF/~Y the requests for a waiver and requests a full
application as to much work is involved for a waiver. ALL AYES.
6. BARBARA CLAPS requests a waiver to construct a 4' X 328' split
rail fence along property line as per survey dated August 8, 1996.
Located 2715 Long Creek Drive, Southold. SCTM ~52-8-1.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE HOLZAPFEL and seconded by TRUSTEE
WENCZEL. ALL AYES.
7. Costello Marine on behalf of KAREN DALY requests an amendment to
Permit ~4565 to replace 130' timber bulkhead within 18", replace 16'
return, replace 3' X 8' access stairs from bulkhead to beach,
back~ill with 76 c.y. of clean fill from approved upland source.
Located 19895 Soundview Ave., Southold. SCTM ~51-4-2.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE WE~CZEL and seconded by TRUSTEE GARi~ELL
to approve ~mendment with the condition that an accurate survey be
submitted. Also board suggested that applicant consider rebuilding
structures on the bank. ALL AYES.
8. THOMAS AND BAR~ARA BALL requests a waiver to construct a approx.
15' X 60' deck as per survey dated Septen%ber 26, 1989. Located 1890
Arshamomaque, Ave., Southold. SCTM ~66-2-46.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE HOLZAPFEL and seconded by TRUSTEE KING
to approve. Ayes: Holzapfel, King, Krupski, Garrell. Abstain: Wenczel.
9. Richard Saetta General Contractor on behalf of DA~rLD MERZ
requests a waiver to constr~ct a second story addition on part of
existing single family dwellia~ as per plans dated 7-29-96.
Located 370 Robinson Road, Greenport. SCTM #34-5-13.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE GARRELL and seconded by TRUSTEE
HOLZAPFEL to grant a waiver. If applicant is not hooked up to
Greenport sewage waiver will not be granted. (8/29/96 checked with
applicant and is hooked up to Greenport sewage). ALL AYES.
I0. J.M.O. on behalf of Dr. A.M. PETRILLI requests a one year
extension on Permit ~4385 for a single fa/~ily dwelling, to expire
October 27, 1997. Located East End Road, Fishers Island. SCTM ~4-5-18.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE Ki~UPSKI and seconded by TRUSTEE WEIqCZEL
to grant a one year extension. ALL AYES.

1. DONALD AND JEAN VAZQUEZ requests, a Wetland Permit for a 11' X
16' detached deck appr~imately 40' from wetlands. Located 2165 Bay
Ave., East Marion. SCT~ 031-17-5.
CAC approved. A motion was made by TRUSTEE KRUPSKI and seconded by
TRUSTEE GARRELL to close the hearing. ALL AYES.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE HOLZAPFET, and seconded by TRUSTEE
WENCZEL to approve. ALL AYES.
2. En-Consuitants, Inc. on behalf of JOHN AND MARY IRVING requests
a Wetland Permit to construct a 4' X 112' fixed walkway (elevated 4'
above grade of marsh) with 4' X 4' steps on inner end, 3' X~14' ramp,
6' X 20' float secured by (2) 2 pile dolphins. Located 1620
Broadwaters Road, Cutchogue. SCTM ~I04-9-8.
TRUSTEE WENCZEL did soundings and feels that the dock should be cut

A motion was made by TRUSTEE GARRELL and seconded by TRUSTEE
HOLZAPFEL to close the hearing. ALL AYES.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE WENCZEL and seconded byTRUSTEE
HOLZAPFEL to approve a 4' X 106' fixed walkway, elevated 4', with 4'
X 4' steps on inner end, 3' X 14' ramp and a 6' X 20' float secured
by (2) 2 pile dolphins with the cond%tion that the dock does not
extend out any further into the creek then the docks to the east and
west. ALL AYES.
3. Eh-Consultants, Inc. on behalf of JOHN LYNCH requests to
construct a 120 1.f. of low profile timber bulkhead with (2) 8'
returns. Dredge area around dock as per drawing. Located 1020 Glenn
Road, Southold. SCTM $78-2-28.
Diane from Eh-COnsultants submitted new drawing as per previous
discussions.
CAC felt a softer approach would, be better. Plantings can hold that
area. CAC disapproved original plan.
Amotion was made by TRUSTEE GARRELL and seconded hyTRUSTEE
HOLZAPFEL to close the hearing. ALL AYES.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE GARRELL and. seconded by TRUSTEE KING to
approve the .above as per new drawing. ALL AYES.
NOTE: Applicant request to recess hearing until September meeting.
4. Pat Moore on behalf of CRESCENT BEACH CONDOMINIUMASSOCIATION
requests a Wetland Permit to add a 4' X 40' fixed dock with splash
board to existing 150' fixed dock, 4' X 40' "T" with splash board,
and 5 piles. Located off Maple Lane, Greenport. SCTM ~38.!-i-22.

5. PETER ENNERS requests a Wetland, Permit to construct a 4' X 30'
dock with 3 piles attached to existing bulkhead. Located 15 Mill
Road, Mattituck. SCTM 9106-4-2.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE K~UPSKi ~nd seconded by TRUSTEE
HOLZAPFEL to recess hearing ~'s 4 and 5. ALL AYES.
V. RESOLUTIONS:
1. CAROL T. KLEINFE. r~requests a Grandfather Permit for approx.
130' of timber bulkhead with 15' return on south side, 15' to ~20'
wida X 60' concrete boat ramp with approx. (2). 10' timber returns and
50' rock wall on both sides approx. 20' X 18' boathouse with deck on
top attached to existing'ho~e. Located 2335Cedar Lane, East Marion.
SCTM %37-4-8.
A motion was made by TRUSTEE HOLZAPFEL and seconded by TRUSTEE KING
to approve the ~hove application. ALL AYES.
VI. MOORINGS: None.
