THIS INDENTURE,made the Z y day of nineteen hundred and sixty-six
BETWEEN JOHN BAUER, SR., residing at Greenport, Town of Southold,
Suffolk County, New York,
u party of the first part.and JOHN D. CARTO and ALICE C. CARTO, his wife,
both residing at Greenport; Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,
party of the second part,
WITNESSETH,that the party of the first part,in consideration of Ten Dollars and other valuable consideration
paid by the party of the second part,does hereby grant and release unto the party of the second part,the heirs
or successors and assigns of the party of the second part forever,
ALL that certain plot,piece or parcel of laud,with the buildings and improvements thereon erected,situate,
lying and being in the Village of Greenport, in the Town of Southold, County of
Suffolk and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the northerly line of Manhanset Avenue, said
point being 60.76 feet westerly along said line from the westerly line of Fiddler
Lane; from said point of beginning running along land of the party of the first
part and others-in a general northerly direction 388.46 feet, more or less, to
land now or formerly of Oakes; thence along land of Oakes in a general westerly
direction 20 feet, more or less, to land of St. Agnes Cemetery; thence along
land of St. Agnes Cemetery in a generally southerly direction 380 feet, more
or less, to the northerly line of Manhanset Avenue; thence along the northerly
line of Manhanset Avenue in a generally easteal y direction 20 feet, more or less,
�. to the point or place of beginning.
BEING AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises conveyed to the grantor
herein by Edna A. Brown and Samuel Levine by deed dated May 21st, 1962 and
recorded in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office on June 26th, 1962 in Liber 5187
of deeds at page 50.
TOGETHER with nll right,title and interest,if any,of the party of the first part in and to any streets and
roads abutting the above descdf premises to the center h es thereof TOGETHER with the appurtenances
