Re: Status presented by Tim Caufield of Peconic Land Trust, Inc. [executive session]
Tim Caufield presented a verbal offer that landowners would be willing to accept, being less than
appraised value, and qualifying as a bargain sale or conservation easement gift. Landowners would
like to have naming opportunity if land should become publicly preserved. Tim outlined ideas for
property for public benefit to certain parts of the property. LPC seemed favorable to suggested
concept plan but will require additional on-going information.

Request for Ag Structures.
John, Ray and Melissa had a 3:00 p.m. conference call on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, with Mark
Unger who is trying to establish an organic farm on this parcel. Easement language limits ag
structures to 2% lot coverage which doesn’t able Mr. Unger to have a greenhouse big enough to
provide shelter for one quadrant of the growing area each year, and his requested barn structure.
Members suggested that he limit the size of his greenhouse to within the restricted percentage.
