In respons.e to your request, an inspection was made of your property and
permission is granted to replace the lost fill behind the existing bulkhead with
clean fill to be brought in from an upland source, as needed, and no higher than
6" below the top of the bulkhead.

Sirs:
During the storm last month, sand was washed out from behind our bulkhead at the above address.
The bulkhead sustained no damage and needs no repair. We would like to replace the sand that was lost,
and we understand that we need a letter from the Board of Trustees in order to do so.
The bulkhead in question was rebuilt in the early 1980's after it was damaged in a hurricane. The
property was owned at that time by Al and Florence Brisotti (now deceased) and the builder was Pat Carrig
(also deceased).
Our contractor, Raymond Nine, will provide approximately 30 cubic yards of clean sand from an
upland source.
Enclosed are photographs taken on April 13,2007 showing the area which lost sand and the
bulkhead in good condition.
Please issue a letter of approval for this project so that we may proceed with the sand
replenishment as soon as possible. We are concerned that the bulkhead is not as strong as it should be
without the proper amount of sand behind it.
If you require additional information or wish to discuss this matter, kindly contact the undersigned.
