Valerie reported she had a letter from Peter Walsh dated 6/30/88 regarding the Town's hiring an intern to assist in the preparation of the report. The state has okayed the plan, subject to their reviewing the intern's qualifications and giving written approval, and subject to our retaining sufficient funds to print and distribute the document. Peter Walsh is expected to visit 8/1/88. Our next meeting will be on 8/2/88. Valerie is starting to seek applicants for the internship. She believes we can offer approximately $10,000 in salary. Ellen & Ruth sat in on the meeting. Ruth reported that Jay sent a letter to Szepatowski outlining the Town's and the State's displeasure with their performance. No reply has been received to date. , .
