1/19/88
Attending:
Valerie Scopaz, Town Planner, Steve Latson, Peter Kren,
Frank Bear, Don Stanton
Valerie opened the meeting with a brief outline of the previous
meeting and an explanation of the map.
It was agreed that Steve Latson would act as chairman and Peter
Kren as secretary.
Fisher's Island will be treated as a separate entity.
The following general questions arose during the discussion:
I) Park Districts - how established, how operated, can they be
changed, enlarged, etc.
2) Town Drainage Criteria - existing data & guidelines, etc.
3) Density - when computing, are wetlands included in the
computations to the developer's benefit
4) Mooring Permits - suggest a review of the process, and
explore expanding jurisdiction to 1500' along Bay
5) Town Policy on Living Aboard Boats
In reviewing Sub-Areas I to 4, several items were added to the
1/6/88 comments. The items are outlined on the attached pages.
Next meeting is scheduled for 2/2/88 at 7:30PM, at Town Hall.
