THIS INDENTURE made the 9th day of MARCH,
Nineteen Hundred and Fifty,
BETWEEN, THE VILLAGE OF GREENPORT, NE'li YORK, a
municipal corporation located in the County of Suffolk, and
State of New York, having a principal office at No. 18
South Street, Greenport, New York, party of the first part,
and
STANLEY S. CGRF4N, residing at 60� Main Street,
Greenport, New York, party of the second part,
WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part, in
consideration of the sum of ONE ($1.00) Dollar lawful money
of the United States paid it by the party of the second
part, does hereby remise, release and quitclaim unto the
party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever,
all the right, title and interest of the party of the
first part, in and to:-
ALL that certain Lot, situate in
the Village of Greenport, County of Suffolk,
N,Y., bounded on the north by Bridge Street;
on the east by Atlantic Avenue; on the south
by Monsell Place and on the west by lots 32 and
49 as described on a map "Clap of Sterling Manor"
assessed to the names E. J. McGrath and Harrie
M. Howell on the assessment roll of the said
Village of Greenport, for the year 1949.
TOGETHER with all the appurtenances and all the
estate and rights of the party of the first part in and to
said premises.
TO HAVE. AND TO HOLD the premises herein granted
unto the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns
forever.
BEING AND INTENDED to be one of the parcels of
property included in an IN REM proceeding conducted by the
aforementioned Village of Greenport, and filed under�(
