THIS INDENTURE,made the 3rd day of October ,nineteen hundred and sixty-two
BETWEEN MARY SWAN SMITH, residing at Greenport, Town of Southold,

party of the first part,and BENJAMIN JOSEPH SMITH and MARY SWAN SMITH, his wife,
both residing at Greenport, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York,
as tenants by the entirety,
party of the second part,
WITNESSETH,that the party of the first part,in consideration of Ten Dollars and other valuable consideration
paid by the party of the second part,does hereby grant and release unto the party of the second part,the heirs
or successors and assigns of the party of the second part forever,
ALL that certain plot,piece or parcel of land,with the buildings and improvements thereon erected,situate,
lying and being in the Village of Greenport, Town of Southold, County of
Suffolk and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
Northerly by land formerly of D. Stanley Corwin; Easterly by
Second Street; Southerly by land of Bessie Lee Hodges, formerly of
Mildred Clark; and Westerly by land formerly of Edwards,
BEING AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises conveyed to the
party of the first part by Ellen Preston Vendeland and another
by deed dated April 7th, 1962 and recorded in the Suffolk County
Clerk's office on June 28th, 1962 in Liber 5188 at page 514.
