THIS INDENTURE,made the 27th day of Octobernineteen hundred and sixty-six
BETWEEN ROBERT H. PRESTON, residing at Middleton Road, Greenport,
Suffolk County, New York,
party of the first part,and SARA D. PRESTON, residing at Middleton Road, Greenport,
Suffolk County, New York,
party of the second part,
WITNESSE E L that the party of the first part,in consideration of Ten Dollars and other valuable consideration
paid by the party of the second part,does hereby grant and release unto the party of the second part,the heirs
or successors and assigns of the party of the second part forever,
ALL that certain plot,piece or parent of land,with the buildings and improvements thereon erected,situate,
lying and being8effie near the Incorporated Village of Greenport, in the Town of
Southold, Suffolk County, New York, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the westerly line of Manhanset Avenue, 258.86
feet southerly along said westerly line from Champlin Place, from said point
of beginning running along said westerly line of Manhanset Avenue, South 34
degrees 57 minutes 20 seconds East, 123.60 feet; thence along land of Sterling
Harbor Marina, Inc., South 23 degrees 48 minutes 10 seconds West, 56.23
feet to ordinary high water mark of Sterling Creek; thence northwesterly along
said high water mark, 160 feet, more or less, as measured by a tie line,
North 17 degrees 29 minutes 20 seconds West, 160,15 feet to the point of
beginning.
BEING and intended to be the same premises conveyed by Sterling Harbor
Marina, Inc,, to Robert H. Preston by deed dated April 28, 1966, and recorded
in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office on May 2, 1966, in Liber 5949 of Deeds
at Page 219.
