thereon situate, lying and being in the Village of Greenport, Town of Southold, County
of Suffolk and State of New York, being a portion of lots Nos. 96 and 97 on a certain
map of the Wiggins Estate signed by Nathaniel Corwin, Sidney L. Griffing and J.
Wickham Case, Commissioners in Partition, which said premises are bounded and
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the northerly line of the right of way of the Long Island
IRailroad Company adjoining the easterly line of lot No. 141 as laid down on said Map
of the Wiggins Estate and running thence northerly partly by the easterly line of lot
No. 141 and partly by the easterly line of Lots Nos. 142 and 143, 110 feet, more or
leas, to land now or formerly of James Heaney and known as lot No. 95 on said map
of the Wiggins Estate ; thence easterly along the southerly line of land now or formerly
of James Heaney 44.8 feet to the fence separating the premises herein described from
land now or formerly of Jennie Hartley; thence southerly along said fence line, 38 feet
to an angle in said fence line; thence southerly still along said fence line, 47.8 feet to
a corner, and thence continuing southerly 15 feet, more or less, to the northerly line
of said right of way of the Long Island Railroad Company, and thence westerly along
the northerly line of said right of way to the point and place of beginning.
