WITNESSETH,that the party of the first part,in consideration of Ten Dollars paid by the party of the around
part,does hereby remise,release and quitclaim unto the party of the second part,the heirs or successors and
assigns of the party of the second part forever,
ALL that certain plot,piece or parcel of land,with the buildings and improvements thereon eroded situate,
lying and being in the Village of Greenport, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk
and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the westerly side of Fifth Street, 220 feet south of
ii Clark Street; running thence westerly, along the southerly line of land now or
formerly of Lois Griffing, 95 feet, more or less, to land formerly owned by
Sidney P. Beckett, deceased; thence southerly, along land last mentioned,
60 feet;thence easterly, in a straight line to a point on the westerly line of
Fifth Street, distant 280 feet south of Clark Street; thence northerly, along
the westerly line of Fifth Street, 60 feet to the point or place of beginning.
BEING and intended to be the same presd ses conveyed to the party of the
first part by deed trade by Mary Hanson deGraff Walling dated December 16,
1940, recorded in the Suffolk county clerk's office November 22, 1940,
liber 2135 of conveyances, page 312.
