Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York,
party of the first par,and HE LEN G. MAC FARLANE, residing at 173 Sterling Street,
Village of Greenport, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York,
party of the second part,
WITNESSETH,that the party of the first part,in consideration of ten dollars paid by the party of the second
part,do.hereby remise,release and quitclaim onto the party of the second part,the heirs or successors and
assigns of the party of the second part forever,
ALL that certain plot,piece or parcel of land,with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate,
lying and being in the Village of Greenport, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and
State of New York, bounded and described as follows:- Commencing at a locust
stake on the southerly side of Sterling Street at the Northeast corner of land
formerly of William W. Griffin running thence easterly along Sterling Street
til Forty-seven add one-half (47 1/2) feet more or less to land formerly of Daniel
Harris now owned by Brown; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said
Brown's land One hundred three (103) feet more or less to land formeiy of
Henry Ackerly; thence Westerly along the Northerly-line of land now or formerly
of said Ackerly Thirty-five and one-half(35 1/2) feet more or less to a locust
stake at the southeast corner of land formerly of William W. Griffin thence
Northerly along the easterly line of land last mentioned One hundred twenty-eight
(128) feet more or less to the point or place of beginning.
BEING and interided to be a one-half interest in said premises inherited
f by party of the first part as distributee of Blanche P. Young, who died intestate
i and a resident of Greenport, New York, on May 1, 1968.
