party of the first part,and HELEN G. MAC FARLANE, residing at 173 Sterling Street,
Village of Greenport, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York,
party of the second part,
WITNESSETH,that the party of the first part,in consideration of ten dollars paid by the party of the second
part,does hereby remise,release and quitclaim unto the party of the second part,the heirs or successors and
assigns of the party of the second part forever,
ALL that certain plot,piece or parcel of land,with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate,
lying and being in the Village of Greenport,- Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and
State of New York, bounded and described as follows: Commencing at a locust
stake on the southerly side of Sterling Street at the Northeast corner of land of
Thornhill formerly of James T. Carley running thence Easterly along Sterling
Street Forty-seven and one-half (47 1/2) feet more or less to a locust stake at
the northwest corner of land of Carl E. Vail; thence in a southerly direction
One Hundred twenty-eight (128) feet more or less to a locust stake to the north
line of land formerly of Henry Ackerly; thence westerly al ong said land formerly
of Ackerly Thirty- five and one=half(35 1/2) feet more or less to land of
Thornhill; thence northerly along the easterly line of said Thornhill's land One
hundred fifty-three and one-half(153 1/2) feet more or less to the point or place
of beginning.
BEING and intended to be a one-half interest in said premises inherited
by party of first part as distributee of Blanche P. Young, who died intestate
and a resident of Greenport, New York, on May 1, 1968.
