PECKHAM, residing at 225 Fourth Street, j' Greenport, New York, as Treasurer of the Incorporated Village of II Greenport, Suffolk County, New York, party of the first part, and GRACE E. CONNOLLY of 194 Old Country Road, Mineola, New York, party of the second part. f WITNESSETH that WHEREAS, by and under the provisions of !! Section 1452 of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of New York and all amendments thereto, the Treasurer of the Incorporated Vil-I lage of Greenport is authorized and required to advertise and sell' ai real estate upon which taxes, together with interest, penalties j itand charges as therein prescribed remain unpaid, and f WHEREAS, default was so made in the payment of such , taRea, interest and charges on sundry parcels of land within the Incorporated Village of Greenport, and the said Treasurer of the l said Incorporated Village of Greenport did cause a list of said lands charged with such taxes and interest and other charges with the notice required by Section 1452 of the said Real Property C.+ Tax Law, and all amendments thereto, to be published as required by said section, and WHEREAS, pursuant to said notice and law, the said Vil- lage Treasurer did, on the 17th day of March, 1969, sell at pub- lic auction each of the said parcels of land for an amount suffi- cient to pay such taxes, interest and charges thereon, and � ~ WHEREAS, the party of the second part purchased atsaidj `) sale for unpaid taxes of the year 1968 or has acquired by assign- ment the purchase rights from such sale in the property herein- `( i, after described, and � .e ! Including all the right, title and interest of LESTERBEV CORP. , in said premises, being the owner thereof so far as appears on the record, together with the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging. Subject to any claims for taxes or for other liens or encumbrances and to any right, title or interest of the Village of Greenport founded upon a tax or other lien or encumbrance.
