is 236 Third Street, Greenport; New ,York, 11944; party of
the first part, and Mary Ann Schoooman, residing at; pld Country
Road, Speonk, New York, 11972, party of the second ~~rt.

WITNESSETH, THAT WHEREAS by an act of the . Legislature
of the State of New York, Chapter 959 of the L~~s of 1958,
entitled "AN ACT in relation to the assessment liod taxation
of real property" consti tuting chapter fiLty-a of the
consolidated laws, and the several acts amending, the same,
and particularly those provisiOnS in Article l~ - Special
Provisions Relating to, Villages, it was among ~ther things
enacted that whenever a tax charged on real estate jin a village
is not paid as provided and remains unpaid for I a statutory
period the Village Treasurer shall advertise and, sell such
real estate pursuant to said acts,'

AND WHEREAS default was made in the paymept of taxes
levied in the year 1981 on the property hereinafter' described,
and such taxes remained unpaid for the statutory period,
AND WHEREAS the Village Treasurer of the i .Village of
Greenport for the time being, by virtue of the power vested
in him, and after due notices for that purpose pl-lplished and
given according to law, and after a compliance 1with all of
the provisions of law of him. required, did sell at public
auction at the Village Hall, 236 Third Street; I Greenport,
New York, on March 9, 1982, the Iparcel of land above referred
to and hereinafter described charged with taxE\s' remaining
unpaid, to satisfy and discharge the said tax~~, and the
interest and charges due thereon at 'the time o,f' the sale,
