The entire building, including the proposed covered "porch" will have a Use Classification of C.4.1, "low hazard storage". The new porch specifically will be used for the storage of the nets used to cover the vineyard in the late summer, and the storage of spraying equipment and other agricultural attachments. Mike Verity, Chief Building Inspector Building Department Town Hall Southold, NY 11971 FAX 7651823 Re: VINEYARD BUILDING Pellegrini Vineyards Cutchogue, NY Dear Mike, To respond to your recent question about the use of the separate spaces in the Vineyard Building, and the result of those uses on the required fire separation of the existing exterior wall between the Case Storage Room and the proposed Covered Porch, I spoke with Bob Pellegrini, the owner of the facility. He informed me that the Covered Porch will be used only for the storage of the nets used to cover the vines, the sprayer equipment used in the vineyard, and other associated equipment. He stated that it would not be used for tractor or other vehicle parking. I assume all spaces in the building therefore have a Use Classification of 4.1.
