lawful money of the United States, and other good and valuable considerations
paid by the parties of the second part,do as hereby Grant and release unto the
part Ica of the second part, their heirs slid assigns forever,all
that tract or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements
thereon erected, situate north of the Village of Southold in the
Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, bounded
and described as follows:- Northerly partly by land formerly of
George H. Dickerson, partly by land formerly of Charles G. Terry,
and partly by the new highway, easterly by land formerly of Edward
Frank Sewell, westerly by lands formerly of Theodore Smith end
George H. Dickerson, and southerly by the Main North Road. Containing
by estimation twenty (20) acres, more or less.
This conveyance is subject to a mortgage now a lien on the said
property, held by Beatrice I. Hodgins, and it is agreed that the said
mortgage shall not merge in the fee title hereby conveyed to the said
Beatrice I. Hodgins.
