HomeMy WebLinkAboutL 3404 P 258 -9V3404 ,,,.258 - THIS INDENTURE, made the twenty-second day of August, in the year 1952, between LIDICO CORPORATION, a corporation duly organ- ized and existing under the laws of the State of New York and hav- ing a principal place of business at Number 80 Wall Street, Bor- ough of Llanhattan, City, County, and State of New York, party of the first part, hereinafter referred to as "Grantor", and CORI N' US GARRETT and HELEN GARRETT, his wife, both residing at Number 165 Edwards Court, West Hempstead, County of Nassau, and State of New York, parties of the second part, hereinafter re- ferred to as "Grantees"; WITNESSETH, that Grantor, in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar, lawful money of the United States, and other good and valuable considerations, paid by Grantees, does hereby grant and release unto Grantees, their heirs and assigns forever, ALL that certain piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, and State of New York, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the westerly side of Kenney's Road where the northerly side of Leeton Drive intersects same; thence running South 45 degrees, 35 minutes, 30 seconds West along said northerly side of Leeton Drive 1,525 feet to the point or place of beginning of the Premises hereby described; BEGINNING at said last-mentioned point of beginning, thence running North 44 degrees, 24 minutes, 30 seconds West 219 feet, more or less, to the mean highwater line of Long Island Sound; thence running westwardly along said mean highwater line of Long Island Sound 25 feet, more or less, to land now or formerly of Cornelius Garrett and Helen Garrett, his wife; thence running alone said Garrett land South 44 degrees, 24 minutes, 30 seconds East 218 feet, more or less, to the northerly side of Leeton Drive; ! thence running eastwardly along said northerly side of Leeton Drive 25 feet to the point or place of beginning; hereinafter re- £erred to as "Premises"; i Said Premises, for the purpose of further identification !, only, are known as the westerly one-half of Plot Numbered 22 on a i certain map entitled, 1„ap of West Southold-on-Sound, Plots 1-234, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, owned by Lidico Corporation, made July, 1950 by William L. Miller, I-lading River, New York, Professional Engineer-Land Surveyor, New York State License No. 7885, and guaranteed to the Inter-County Title Guaranty and Mortgage Company on July 20, 1950, and which map is I intended to be filed with the Clerk of the County of Suffolk, at Riverhead, New York;
