does hereby remise, release, and quitclaim unto the party of the second part,
her distributees and assigns forever, all that certain lot, piece or
parcel of land, situate, lying andbeing in the Village on d mown of
Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, bounded and
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point, marked by a monument, on the weaterly
side of Horton's Lane (also known as Hortonls Point Road), which point
is also the southeasterly corner of land moor formerly of Smith;
running thence, along the westerly line of Horton Is Lane, the follows g
two courses and distances: (1st) South 31- 26, Fast 55.E feet; then.
(2r1d) South 37D 53' East. 501,9 feet to a point marked by a monument
and the northeast corner of land conveyed to John C. McCabe by deed
Of Benjamin H. Reeve, Referee, recorded on the 2nd day of April, 1901
in Liber 505 of deeds, nage 115; running thence along the northerly
line of land formerly of John C. McCabe and now of Mary J. Mc Cate,
South 49° 581 30" West. 794.2 feet to a point marked by a monument;
running thence, along the easterly line of landnow or formerly of
Jennings North 32° 311 best 562.15 feet to a point marked by a monu-
ment; running thence, along the southerly line of said land now or
formerly of Smith, North 50o 02 East 747.85 feet to the westerly side
of Horton's Lane end the point or place of beginning.
TOGETHER with all the right, title and interest of the pert
of the first part in and to the highway adjacent to the foregoing
describedpremises, to the center line thereof.
THIS is a correction deed delivered for the purpose of correct-
ing errors in the deed from the party of the first part, and others to
Charles L. Hanff dated the 6th day of April, 1940 and recorded on the
15th day of April, 1940 in Liber 2049 of deeds, page 167, intending
to convey the foregoing premises, but in which deed allthe courses
were given in reverse, also intended to be the same premises conveyed �!
by deed of the said Charles N. Hanff to Henry G. McCabe recorded in
Liber 2049 cp 167.
