�.. WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Suffolk County Improvement Act the
above entitled proceeding was duly instituted by an Order of the Supreme Court which was
duly filed in the Office of the County Clerk of Suffolk County on the 2nci day of
C;;ru,i- , 1960 and that thereupon title in fee simple to the property to be
acquired in said proceeding became vested in the County of Suffolk, New York, and the
proceeding continued for the purpose of determining the compensation to be made to the
\� owners of the real property to be acquired in this proceeding is to be ascertained by the
Court without a jury, and
WHEREAS, immediately prior to the vesting of title as aforesaid in the said County of
Suffolk

owned the parcel of property acquired as aforesaid and designated in said proceeding
as Map No. I which said parcel of property is more particularly described as
follows:
ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Town of Southold, County
of Suffolk, State of New York, for park purposes, and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the division line between the lands of the
William Worth Estate, reputed owner on the south, and the lands of Theodore
O. Bittner, reputed owner on the north, at its intersection with the easterly
boundary of the existing Peconic Mill Lane; thence N 760 35' 10" E, along
the said division line, 185.00 feet to a point on the average high water line
of Goldsmith's (Peconic) Inlet; thence generally southerly along the said
high water line a distance of about 144 feet to a point on the division line
between the lands of the William Worth Estate, reputed owner on the north,
and the lands of Barbara Fitz, reputed owner on the south, the tie line
between the points on said high water line bearing S 110 251 101, E, I44.24
feet; thence S 750 51' 10" W, along the last mentioned division line 180.00
feet to a point on the said easterly boundary of Peconic Mill Lane; thence
N I30 241 5011 W along the last mentioned boundary 146.45 feet to the point
of beginning; being 0.63 acre more or less as shown on a map on file in
the office of the Commissioner of Public Works of Suffolk County.
