WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Suffolk County Improvement Act the
above entitled proceeding was duly instituted by an Order of the Supreme Court which was
duly filed in the Office of the County Clerk of Suffolk County on the 2nd day of
November , 1966 and that thereupon title in fee simple to the property to be
acquired in said proceeding became vested in the County of Suffolk, New York, and the
proceeding continued for the purpose of determining the compensation to be made to the
owners of the real property to be acquired in this proceeding is to be ascertained by the
Court without a jury, and
WHEREAS, immediately Prior to the vesting of title as aforesaid in the said County of
Suffolk

as Map No. 10 which said parcel of property is more particularly, described as
follows:
ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Town of Southold, County
of Suffolk, State of New York, for park purposes, and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the division line between the lands of Conway
Brothers, reputed owners an the south, and the lands of Claude Hodgins, reputed
owner on the north, at its intersection with the westerly boundary of the existing
Sound View Avenue; thence southwesterly along said boundary on a line curving
to the left having a radius of 374.66 feet an arc distance of 143.33 feet to a point
on the division line between the lands of Conway Brothers, reputed owners on the
north and the lards of the S. F. Overton Estate, reputed owner on the south;
thence N 460 I01 00" W, along the last mentioned division line 94.88 feet to a
point on the division line between the lands of the S. F. Overton Estate, reputed
owner on the north, and the lands of Conway Brothers, reputed owners on the
south; thence N 570 4414011 E, along the last mentioned division line 74.39 feet
to a point on the first mentioned division line;thence N 750 532 001' E, along
said first mentioned division line 77.53 feet to the point of beginning; being
0.15 acre more or less as shown an a map on file in the office of the Commissioner
of Public Works of Suffolk County.
