In the Matter of the Petition of the tl - COUNTY OF SUFFOLK for the purpose of acquiring the real properties for the �7 t' Reconstruction of a portion of Riverhead- File No. 141464 Greenport Road (Middle Road), C.R. 27, RECEIPT AND RELEASE (from 2200 f feet east of Bridge Lane to Re: MAP No. I54R Hortons Lane) in the Town of Southold, Parcel Nos. "A","B","C","D","E". Suffolk County, New York. WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Suffolk County Improvement Act the above entitled proceeding was duly instituted by an Order of the Supreme Court which was duly filed in the Office of the County Clerk of Suffolk County on the 3rd day of May 1967 , and that thereupon title in fee simple to the property to be acquired in said proceeding became vested in the County of Suffolk, New York, and the proceeding continued for the purpose of determining the compensation to be made to the owners of the real property to be acquired in this proceeding is to be ascertained by the Court without a jury, and WHEREAS, immediately prior to the vesting of title as aforesaid in the said County of Suffolk EaVID L. MUDD of Pine Neck toad, Southold, New York owned the parcel of property acquired m aforesaid and designated in said proceeding as Map No. I54R , which said parcel of property is more particularly described as follows: ALL those pieces or parcels of land situate in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, State of New York, for the reconstruction of Riverhead Greenport Road (Middle Road), County Road No. 27, as shown on Map No. I54R and described as follows: ° PARCEL,"An BEGINNING at a point on the northerly boundary of the existing Riverhead-Greenport Road (Middle Road) at the intersection of the said boundary with the division line between the lands of Stephen J. and Frances Doroski, reputed owners on the west, and the lands of David L. Mudd, reputed owner on the east, said point being 359 +feet distant southerly, measured at right angles, from Station 411 + 20 t of the hereinafter described survey center line of the proposed reconstruction of Riverhead-Greenport Road (Middle Road), County Road No. 27, thence northerly along said division line 421 ±feet to a point 60.00 feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 410 + 84 of said center line; thence easterly 510 feet to a point 60.00 feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 4I5 + 94.32 of said center line; thence N 420 04' 42" E. 22.76 feet to a point of curvature; thence easterly on a curve to the left having a radius of 2864.79 feet an arc distance of 209 ± feet to a point on the division line between the lands of David L. The above mentioned survey center line is a portion.of the survey center line for the proposed reconstruction of Riverhead-Greenport Road (Middle Road), County Road No. 27, as she.on a map on file in the office of the Commissioner of Public Works of Suffolk County. LIBER6279 PACEM and WHEREAS, the said parson or persons who owned said parcel of property priier to its acquisition as aforesaid by the County of Suffolk desire to compromise and settle the claim for compensation therefor at the sum of$27,500.00 , which the said County agreed to pay, NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the'premises and of the sum of$27,500.00 , lawful money of the United States, in hand paid to the under- signed, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the undersigned hereby accepts said sum in full compromise andsettlement of any and all claims for compensation or damage by reason of the acquisition of said parcel of property by said County, and the ascertainment Of compensation or damages by the said Court is hereby waived and the said County of Suffolk is hereby released from any other or further claim for the acquisition of said parcel of property, and the undersigned hereby ratify and confirm the title to said parcel of property acquired by said County as aforesaid. As an inducement to said compromise and settlement it is repreeszted and guaranteed by the undersigned that at the time title to said parcel of property vested in said County the undersigned had fee simple title thereto free of any incumbrances or liens or claims of any nature and that no assignment has beer. trade Of the compensation to be paid by said County for said property.
