\ Certain Town Highway in the Town of Southold, ; DEDICATION AND
County of Suffolk, and State of New York, to RELEASE
r� be known as "HARPER ROAD". — — — — —
-- v. WHEREAS, application has been duly made to the Town Superintende
of Highways of the Town of Southold, in the County of Suffolk, and State of
New York, for the laying out of a certain town highway to be known as
"HARPER ROAD" to extend from the southerly line of Petty Road southerly
and then westerly through lands of the undersigned to the easterly line of
Wells Avenue,
NOW, THEREFORE, L. BARRON HILL and ADELAIDE H. HILL,
his wife, all residing in the Town aforesaid and owners of lands to be includ d
within the said highway, do hereby dedicate, release and convey to the said
Town of Southold, for highway purposes, the following lands, to wit:
BEGINNING at a monument at the intersection of the
westerly line of Mechanic Street South with the southerly
line of Petty Road; from said point of beginning running
thence along said southerly line of Petty Road, North 76
degrees 59 minutes 50 seconds East, 50.0 feet; thence through
land of L. Barron Hill and Adelaide H. Hill, his wife, three
courses as follows:
(1) South 13 degrees 00 minutes 10 seconds East 192.91 feet;
thence
(2) South 76 degrees 59 minutes 50 seconds West 229,24 feet;
thence
(3)South 58 degrees 08 minutes 40 seconds West 191.70 feet
to the easterly line of Wells Avenue at a point 250,0 feet southerly
along said easterly line from a monument at the northerly terminus
thereof; thence along said easterly line of Wells Avenue, North 31
degrees 51 minutes 20 seconds West, 50.0 feet; thence through
said lands of L. Barron Hill and Adelaide H. Hill, his wife,
three courses as follows:
(1) North 58 degrees 08 minutes 40 seconds East, 200.0 feet;
thence
2) North 76 degrees 59 minutes 50 seconds East, 187.54 feet;
thence
(3) North 13 degrees 00 minutes 10 seconds West, 142.91 feet
to a concrete monument and the point or place of beginning.
