THIS INDENTURE,made the 20th day of May ,nineteen hundred and sixty-eight
BETWEEN HELMUTH HASS, a/k/a HEIMTIT HASS, residing at Southold,
New York,
party of the first part,and HELEN MANIS, residing at 215 Clinton Road, Garden
City, New York,
party of the second part,
WITNESSETH,that the party of the first part,in consideration of Ten thousand ($10,000)
dollars,
lawful money of the United States, paid
by the party of the second part,does hereby grant and release unto the party of the second part,the heirs or
successors and assigns of the patty of the second part forever,
ALL that certain plot,piece or parcel of land,with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate,
lying and being If= at Arshamcmaque, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and
State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the centgr line of Old Cove Boulevard distant
293.12 feet on a course South 61 59, loll West from the intersection of
said mid-line with the easterly side of Beverly Road (said point of
intersection being 98.18 feat along the easterly line of Beverly Road,
on a course South 31 40, 50" East from the intersection of sAid
easterly line of Beverly Road with the southerly line of the North
Road (County Road 27);
RUNNING THENCE South 610 59' 10" West along the center line of Old
Cove Boulevard 84.64 feet;
THENCE South 310 40, 50" East through a point on the Southerly side
of Old Cove Boulevardma.rked by an iron pipe 96.92 feet;
THENCE South 740 23' 40" East 20.00 feet more or less to the ordinary
high water mark of "Old Cove";
THENCE Northeasterly along the ordinary high water mark of Old Cove
63.00 feet more or less to land now or formerly of Irving Feder and
Virginia J. Fader, his wife.
THENCE North 280 00' 5011 West along said last mentioned land through
an iron pipe 102.00 feet more or less to the point or place of
BEGINNING.
TOGETHER with an easement to lay, relay, operate and maintain the water
supply,line where the same is presently located and two feet on either
side thereoffrom a pointon the southerly line of Old Cove Boulevard
near the northwesterly_corner of the premises northerly, across Old
Cove Boulevard and continuing to the southerly line of the North Road
(C.R. 27) to the water main therein of the incorporated Village of
Greenport, and

SUBJECT to the right of the party/ and others to lag, relay, operate
and maintain water lines in said easement and along the northerly
portion of the premises where another such water supply line is now
laid (and two feet on each side thereof). The parties represent that
on my occasion when it is necessary for the surfact to be disturbed
to relay and/or repair the water lines the same shall be restored to
its previous condition within a reasonable time.
TOGETHER with all the right, title and interest, of any, of the party
of the first part, of in and to the lands under the waters of Old Cove
(an arm of Arshampma4ue Pond).

BEIND AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises conveyed to Helmuth Hass
(the said Helmuth Hass being the same person as the party of the first
