lawful money of the United States, and other valuable considerations
paid by the parties of the second part,do. hereby grant and release unto the
parties of the second part, their distributees and assigns forever,all
that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being
at Southold, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York,
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southerly side of Hill Road
where it is intersected by the easterly side of land now or formerly
of Albert Sacco; running thence along the southerly side of Hill Road,
(1) South 68 degrees 53 minutes 50 seconds East, 50.86 feet and (2)
South 55 degrees 41 minutes 00 seconds East, 49.14 feet; thence South
21 degrees 52 minutes 00 seconds West, along land now or formerly of
Rose Sales 250 feet to the high water mark of Jockey Creek; thence along
said high water mark on a tie line of North 59 degrees 15 minutes 20
seconds West, 96.74 feet and thence North 21 degrees 06 minutes 10
seconds East, along said land now or formerly of Sacco, 245 feet to
the southerly side of Hill Road and the point or place of BEGINNING.
TOGETHER with all right, title and interest of the
parties of the first part in and to the land lying in the streets and
roads in front of and adjoining said premises.
THE premises hereinabove described are conveyed subject
to a certain mortgage of even date herewith, from Leon A. Jerred and
Elsie L. Jerred to S:.:Ba¢rnh:Hill.-&:'Ade:laide Hill_. in the principal
amount of $11,250.00 on which there is an unpaid balance of $11,250.00
and which said unpaid principal balance the parties of the second part
hereby assume and agree to pay and the parties of the second part shall
save the parties of the first part harmless from any liability on the
bond which the said mortgage was given to secure.
