c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such

Received your applicati~ and drawings for the signs on the
Falcaro bowling alley building at Graenport, L.I.
Please be advised that sign #1 and sign #2 for the front wall of
the building are O.h~. and the permit fee for them will be ~ 9.50.
Sign # 3 is a side wall sign and will require a special exception
from the Board of Appeals and if approved the fee for sign #3 will be
$ 1.85 (Article IV, section ~O8 of ordinance).
Sign ~4 - a ground sign will require a special exception from
the Board of Appeals as it is over 12'-6" long and over 15'-6" hight the
fee for this sign if aDd, roved will be $ $.75 ~article IVy section $O8).
I am enclosing the necessary application forms to ~ake application
to the Board of Appeals for the emceptions. These should be fil~ed out
in duplicate - citing section hO8 of the ordinance - and Eiving reasons
for needing the w~ sign on side of building on one al~plication ad the
reasons for the extra heigth & length on the ground sign to g,ther with
any other pertinent reasoning and facts which you wish to put before the
Board.
Someone sho~td appear at the scheduled he~ring - notice will be set
to you of tim% place & date - so as to answer any q*estions the Board
may haveS This can be anyone who is directly con~ected with the project-
th* owner, builder, engineer, attorney or from your office.
A receipt is enclosed for the ordinance fee of
9operate check~ for sign per~it fees and for board of Appeals
should be made out to the Town of ~outhold. The fee for special exception
a?plicatio~s are ~ 15.OO each.
The Board of Appels will meet March 1st to set hearing dates for
all applications received by then, these hearings will nor~aly be held
two weeks from that date.

fee. I would send it to the Department by return -~il. I ~n quite
anxious to get started on production as this Alley will be open-
ing soon but can,t until I have the Building Department approval.
