County, City and State of New York, as tenants in common,
part ies of the second part,

lawful money of the United States, and other good and valuable consideratio
paid by the part iesof the second part, do es hereby remise, release and quitclaim
unto the parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns forever, all
4 that tract or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements there
on, situate in the Village and Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and
State of New York, bounded and described as follows;
\ BEGINNING at a point on the southerly side of Korn Avenue, easter-
ly from Hobart Road, marked by a monument at the intersection of the
easterly line of land of Thomas E. Murray and Katharine M. Murray, form-
erly of Albert Hipp, and the southerly line or side of Korn Avenue;
thence running Easterly, along the southerly side of Korn Avenue, a dis
tance of ninety-four (94) feet to a monument; thence running Southerly,
along land formerly of Adeline Nichols, on a line parallel with the
easterly line of land of the aforesaid Thomas E. Murray and Katharine
M. Murray, a distance of one hundred sixty-five (165) feet to a monu-
ment; thence running Westerly, on a line parallel with the southerly
side of Korn Avenue and along the northerly side of land of Herbert
and/or Katherine Cassidy, a distance of ninety-four (94) feet to a monu
ment set in the easterly boundary line of land of the aforesaid Thomas
E. Murray and Katharine M. Murray; running thence Northerly, along the
easterly line of the said last mentioned land, a distance of one hundred
sixty-five (165) feet to the southerly line or side of Korn Avenue, and
the point and place of BEGINNING.
TOGETHER with all the right, title and interest of the party of
the first part in and to the highway adjacent to the said premises.
BEING AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises conveyed to the party
of the first part by Alfred H. Cosden and his wife, Lorraine Cosden, _
by deed dated the 14th day of September, 1940 and recorded in the Offic
of the Clerk of Suffolk County on the 24th day of September, 1940 in
Liber 2124 at page 13.
SUBJECT HOWEVER, to a life estate in the party of the first part, _
ANNE E. BRENNAN, during her natural life. .
