THIS INDENTURE, Made the S' day of September a
Nineteen Hundred and Forty-Eight_
BETS'EEN GEORGE A. TURNER, residing at 5th Street, and
Utter Avenue, Hawthorne, New Jersey and SARAH M. HAHN,
residing at 2306 Grand Avenue, Bronx, New York, partiesof
the first part, and.
JOHN FRANCIS TURNER, residing at 889 East 37th Street,
Brooklyn, New York, party of the second part,
WITNESSETH, that whereas Mary Turner died a resident of
Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York on the 11th
day of October, 1944 leaving as her sole heirs at law and
distributees, the aforesaid parties of the first and second
part and one William P. Turner, a sen who died on or about
August 1, 1946 and
'.'.HEREAS the said 'William P. Turner likewise died a
resident of Peconic, Suffolk County, New York on said let
day of August, 1946 leaving as his sole heirs at law and
distributees the said parties of the first and second part
herein and
F:£EREAS the partiessf the first part desires to convey to
the party of the second part all of the right, title and
interest in the premises hereinafter described acquired by
them by reason of the deaths of the said Mary Turner and
William P. Turner,
The parties of the first part in consideration of the
premises and of the sum of One Dollar (81.00) lawful money of
the United States, and other good and valuable consideration
paid by the party of the second part, do hereby grant and
release. unto the party of the second part, his heirs and
assigns forever, all their right, title and interest of, in
and to all that tract or parcel of land with the buildings
thereon, situate at Peconic, in the Town of Southold, County
of Suffolk and State of New York, known as the Jesse G. Case

Homestead, bounded Westerly by Peconic Lane, Northerly by
land.of Nathan H. Sayre, P+esterly by the several lands of
Nathan H. Sayre and Silas F. Overton, again Northerly by the
North Road, Easterly and Northerly by land of Julia D. Moore,
again Easterly partly by land of Elizabeth B. Anderson and
partly by land of Josiah G. Case and Southerly by land of
Josiah C. Case, containing by estimation 1 3/4 acres more or
now a lien on the premises.
