Dear Ms. Di Preta,
A recent inspection of your property indicates that the entrance and exit
have not been changed as requested in the Board's letter to you of April
24, 1996. (Copy enclosed).
The existing arrows must be painted over and new arrows placed at the
entrance and exit.
The reason for this change is to give customers exiting from your
property more visibility to the west,
We are also working with Hardy Plumbing to correct the dangerous parking
situation in front of their building.

Thank you for your speedy response to my letter of March 28, 1996. As you requested, I
have enclosed a copy of the site plan indicating the locations of the outdoor seating area
and parking ares. In addition I have included a detailed drawing, to scale, of those areas.
I hope this information is sufficient and meets with your approval.
The only outdoor sign currently plarmed is the existing sign for which there is a pennit.

The Planning Board has received your request for review of your
restaurant and comments as follows:
1. All parking spaces must be striped, including one handicapped
space.
2. Entrance to the rear parking area should be on the west.
The exit should should be to the east in order to insure greater
visibility to oncomming traffic from the west. Both entrance and
exit should be clearly marked.
3. Outdoor tables may be placed on the front lawn area.
If you have any questions, or require further information, please contact
this office.

Dear Sir:
Thank you for your speedy response to my letter of March 28, 1996. As you requested, I
have enclosed a copy of the site plan indicating the locations of the outdoor seating area
and parking ares. In addition I have included a detailed drawing, to scale, of those areas.
I hope this information is sufficient and meets with your approval.
The only outdoor sign currently planned is the existing sign for which there is a permit.

The Heritage Inn is a new restaurant preparing to open in Mattituck. As part of our
business plan and concept we are considering using some of our existing front and rear of
the building space as an outdoor cafe.
We would intend to use the patio type tables with decorative umbrellas and outdoor
furniture. We feel that our newly renovated restaurant with outdoor cafe seating would
add to the charm and quaintness of our town. We, of course, would design and present an
image reflecting that of the Heritage Inn - a tastefully decorated and professionally
managed restaurant.
