Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971-0959 Telephone (631) 765-1892 Fax (631) 765.1366 BOARD OF TOWN1'RUSTEES". ,..- TowN OF SOUTHOLD February 25, 2004 RE: Dear Mr. ~ The Board of To Trustees took the followin Wednesda ,Fe ruary 2 ,2004 regarding t ction during its regular meeting held on above matter: WHEREAS, avid B s, RA on behalf EUGENE & GEORGENE BOZZO applied to the Southo ow rustees for a rmit under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold Town Code, the Wet d Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated February 3, 2004 a WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on February 25, 2004, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, 2 WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of EUGENE & GEORGENE BOZZO to construct a second-floor addition to the existing dwelling and add a deck to the landward side of the house, with the condition drywells and gutters are installed, and as depicted on the plan prepared by David Bers last revised March 24, 2004. Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. Inspections are required at a fee of $5.00 per inspection. (See attached schedule.) The proposed renovations include the addition of a new second floor above a portion of the existing first floor at the landward side of the house. We will also add a deck to the landward side of the house. It is our intention in planning these renovations to keep the structure within the character of the street and vernacular of the house and minimize the impact of the new structure on the waterfront site. We have included all the necessary forms and site surveys for review. It is our hope to receive from the Trustees a Waiver for having no environmental impact if the work is implemented.
