HomeMy WebLinkAboutHALO Maps Adopted 01/2007Town of Southold - Letter Board Meeting of January 30, 2007 RESOLUTION 2007-157 ADOPTED Item # 29 DOC ID: 2577 THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-157 WAS ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON JANUARY 30, 2007: WHEREAS the "Town of Southold Hamlet Study" was adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Southold on July 12, 2005 as an official town planning document to be considered in the comprehensive planning process, and in implementing new legislation and town programs; and WHEREAS the "HALO Map" contained therein for each hamlet has been reviewed, and in some cases revised, by the Planning Department, Planning Board and/or Town Board; and WHEREAS the revised and updated "HALO Map" will be used in planning for the future of each HALO and hamlet, and utilized in the creation of legislation and initiatives to further the principles and recommendations contained in the "Town of Southold Hamlet Study"; it is therefore RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby adopts the HALO Maps for the hamlets of Mattituek, Cutchogue~ New Suffoliq Peconic~ Southold~ East Marion and Orient~ dated January 30~ 2007.
