RAMBLER ROAD, PLEASANT PLACE and WATERSEDGE WAY for the improvement of said streets. WHEREAS a written petition dated September 11, 1971, was heretofore and on~ ;;'5 Section 200 of the Town Law of the State of New York for the improvement , 1972, duly filed with this board pursuant to of highways in said town known as Longview Lane, Rambler Road, Pleasant Place and Watersedge Way situate at Bayview, in the Town of Southold, and shown and designated on a certain map entitled "Map of Terry Waters at Bayview, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York" filed in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office on December 29, 1958, as Map No. 2901, by the permanent pavement of the same and the construction of such curbs, gutters, catch basins and drainage facilities as may be necessary; and whereas it duly appears that such petition has been duly signed by the owners of real estate owning at least one-half of the entire frontage or bounds on both sides of said highways situate between the points aforesaid and whereas it duly appears that such petition was also duly signed by resident owners owning not less than one-half of the frontage owned by resident owners residing in or along such highways; and whereas such petition was duly acknowledged . . . . or proved by all the signers thereof in the same manner as a deed to be recorded; and whereas the maximum amount proposed to be expended for the improvement of said highways as stated in the petition is the sum of $10,500.00, it is, pursuant to the provisions of said Section 200 of the Town Law of the State of New York, hereby ORDERED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County New York, shall meet at the Supervisor's Office, 16 South Street, Greenport, in said Town on the;;1'3-v1 day of?7? 7 ' 1972, at;J:,J.lo'clock in the afternoon of that day, for the purpose of considering the said petition and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning the same. ( WHEREAS, following receipt of a petition in due form, a public hearing duly called and held for the improvement of the existing highways known as L<mgview Lane, Rambler Road, Pleasant Place and Watersedge Way (herein called "Improvement" and "Streets" respectively), in the Town of Southold (herein called "Town"), in the County of Suffolk, New York, by the permanent pavement of the same and the construction of such curbs, gutters, catch basins and drainage facilities as may be necessary, at an estimated maximum cost of $10,500.00, the Town Board of the Town determined pursuant to resolution duly adopted on June 6, 1972, that the notice of such hearing was published and posted as required by law and is otherwise sufficient and that it is in the public interest to make the Improvement pursuant to the definite plans, specifications and estimate of cost to be prepared by the Town Engineer; now therefore, be it RESOLVED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD IN THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK, NEW YORK (by the favorable vote of not less than two,thirds of all the members of said Board), AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Town hereby appropriates the amount of $10,500.00 for the permanent pavement of Longview Lane, Rambler Road, Pleasant Place and Watersedge Way and the construction of such curbs, gutters, catch basins, and drainage facUities as may be necessary on and along the Town Highways in the Town, all in accordance with the map, plan and specifications and estimate of cost prepared by the Town Engineer, hereinabove referred to in the Recitals hereof, and hereby approved. To finance such appropriation, serial bonds of the Town are hereby authorized to be issued in the principal amount of $10,500.00 pursuant to the provisions of the Local Finance Law, constituting Chapter 33-a of the Consolidated Laws of the State of New York (herein called "Law"). Section 3. The period of probable usefulness of the specific object or purpose for which the bonds authorized pursuant to this resolution are to be issued, within the limitations of Section l1.00a. 20. of lhe Law, is five (5) years. (Ai Current funds are not required" to be provided prior to the issuance of the bonds authorized pursuant to this resolution, or any bond anticipation notes issued in anticipation thereof, pursuant to the provisions of Section 107.00 of the Law. (B) The proposed maturily of the bonds authorized pursuant to this resolution will not exceed five (5) years. Section 4. Each of the bonds authorized 'pursuant to this resolution, and any notes issued in anticipation thereof, shall contain the recital of validity prescribed by , 52.00 of the Law and said bonds and any notes issued in anticipation of said bonds shall be general obligations of the Town, payable as to both principal and interest by general tax upon all the taxable real property within the Town without limitation of rate or amOlUlt. The faith and credit of the Town are hereby irrevocably pledged to the punctual payment of the principal of and interest on said bonds and provision shall be made annually in the budget of the Town by appropriation for (a) the amortization and redemption of the bonds to mature in such year and (b) the payment of interest fo be due and payable in such year. -Section 5.
