THIS AGREEMENT, made the,Z 711day of November, 1985 , between
ELAINE OVERTON DOOLITTLE formerly known as ELAINE TERRY OVERTON,
residing at kno num er ain Road , Southold, New York 11971, party'
of the first part, and FRANCIS LEO THOMPSON and KATHRYN THOMPSON,
his wife, both residing at (no number) Main Road , Southold, New
York 11971, parties of the second part;
WHEREAS the aforesaid parties are owners of contiguous
parcels of real estate on the northerly side of Main Road , at
Southold, in the Town of Southold , Suffolk County, New York, and

WHEREAS, OWING TO CERTAIN ambiguities in prior deeds in
their respective chains of title, and uncertainty exists between
%Ilosaid parties as to the location of the line dividing their
��+ b parcels ; (said line being the northerly boundary of the parties of
the second part and the southerly boundary of the party of the

3 WHEREAS the said parties are desirous of settling this un-
certainty without resort to litigation;

t.C> That in consideration of the mutual promises and conveyances
herein contained, and other good and valuable consideration, the
receipt of which is hereby mutually acknowledged , the parties
agree as follows :
That, irrespective of what may be the true

parcels as might be de-
r G 3. 0 o termined by a court of competent jurisdiction in an appropriate
action to determine the same, the common line which shall be
deemed the neatherly boundary of the premises owned by the parties

of the second part and the southerly boundary of those owned by
the party of the first part shall be a line commencing at the
northwesterly corner of premises of the parties of the second part
which point is North 16 degrees 37 minutes 40 seconds West 136 .00
feet from the northerly side of Main Road at a point which is
North 74 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds West 208 .00 feet from a
concrete monument. The division line herein agreed upon shall
Arun North 74 degrees 11 minutes 40 seconds East a distance of
82.90 feet to land now or formerly of Robert Hascoat, so that each
parcel will henceforth be bounded and described as follows :
o (A) Parcel belonging to the party of the first part: All that

on situate lying and being at Southold , in the Town of Southold,
County of Suffolk and State of New York, bounded on the South by
Main Road ; on the West by the several lands of Zustovich,
Dolomite, and Patellis ; on the North by land of Long Island Rail-
road ; on the East by the several lands of Krukowski and Hascoat;
